Glacial Rose: The Little Mermaid

Worked on this during Christmas break and am rather pleased with how it turned out. The idea is Ariel is taking a winter vacation in the arctic seas.

This is a mixed media piece, beginning as a watercolor and then making the finishing touches with Photoshop.

Originally, I was going to enter a contest with this piece, but I ran out of time. Oh well, I am still content. contest or no.
